Meet Ananya Verma, the 4 years old super-kid from Lucknow who got admission in class 9th. Her sister became PhD student at age 15.
Talent could never be confined in physical boundaries. Meet Ananya Verma, a 4 year old child prodigy from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh who got admission in 9th Standard in St Meera’s Inter College. Her admission was approved by State Education department and officials.
Born on 1st December 2011 to Tej Bahadur Verma and Chhaya, Ananya showed remarkable capability in comprehension and reading. At her current age, she is fluent in English and can read and understand newspapers like an adult.
Ananya’s father is an assistant supervisor of sanitation at the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, while her mother is illiterate.
“When Ananya was a year and nine months old, she could read Ramayana and Sundar Kaand. We never force her to study. We are a blessed family with all wonder kids.” – said Ananya’s father Tej Bahadur.
Ananya’s super ability to grasp was discovered accidently when her teacher from St. Meera’s Inter College met her father in a market. Ananya was accompanying her father. While the two adults were talking, Ananya took the book from her teacher and started reading it like any adult would do.
Impressed by her show of interest, her teacher called the father-daughter duo to the school next day and Ananya was made to write few tests. When the results came out and Ananya cleared all of them, she was given an admission to class 9th.
As per Vinod Ratra, the school manager for St. Meera’s Inter College, “Ananya is even more talented than her siblings. We have sought permission for her admission to class nine from the district inspector of schools and have cited the cases of her siblings. We are confident of getting the permission and we will also ensure that Ananya gets free education in our institution”.
However, Ananya’s rise to a prodigy child is not new to the family. Ananya’s siblings are also equally famous for their super abilities. Her elder sister Sushma has registered her name in LIMCA Book of World Records for clearing class 10th at the age of seven only. Last year, she also became the youngest PhD student at BBAU. Their eldest Brother, Shailendra has cleared BCA exam at the mere age of 14 after passing her Schools at the age of nine only.
Ananya is set to appear for her class 10th UP Board examination in around 2 years from now. If she passes the exam, she will break her elder sister’s records of passing the class 10th at the age of seven.
We wish her all the best!!
